I always thought she had the most beautiful skin especially with her outdoor life.

She was someone who never sought any level of notice, but it came to her late in life, and she accepted it, neither embracing nor ignoring what resulted from being known.

In that regard, she reminds me of my late and much missed friend Quentin Crisp.
