I don't often watch these as oh and I are diabetic and the sugar fat and salt etc they all use is a no no I would watch a prog about cooking for diabetics though or for slimmers ,what do you think x

I don't know of any people who actually cook the things on those programmes, whether they're diabetic or not. It's just entertainment.
I did try to cook a meal by Gary Rhodes from the telly but halfway through I realised he'd missed out some crucial information about timings, so my fish was underdone while everything else sat around waiting.
Best to buy a cookery book.
