We all know that knife crime is mainly committed by blacks.... usually black on black. So EastEnders tonight show a white gang stabbing a couple black guys...... I thought soaps were supposed to reflect real life??
There'll probably be no complaints about tonight's "unreal" episode because it was portraying whites as the bad guys. But if it had showed a black gang doing the stabbing which is more like reality the liberal loony lefties would be up in arms. The BBC need a good kick up the *** and a lesson in real life!!!!

And no it's not ALWAYS blacks going the stabbing... or shooting for that matter. But at a guess if say 95% are blacks..... And I'd say at least 50% of those are immigrants!
So the BBC should show it how it is. NOT show it how they want it to be!!!!

Judderman soaps can do what the flip they like. They don't have to portray real life. As an eastender, this soap has been totally inaccurate from the start.

There's two very good reasons why Dallas was a flop in Japan - no-one could understand why so many grown men lived at home with their mother, and why they discussed business with women around.

Soaps are not, and never have been 'real life'.

I don't watch soaps so I don't really know how true to life they are, and I don't really care.
But I only have to read all the news reports and watch the news on tv to know that the huge majority of knife crime IS committed by blacks..... mostly black on black!!
There seems to be rather a lot if people on here in denial.
Rather like the BBC, are you all afraid of offending the poor black people??
They've had to reduce or stop stop and search because they were offending the poor black people. And now stabbings and shootings (by black people) have escalated. Coincidence?? I think not.
But we better not offend the poor black people by saying otherwise!! Even though stopping and searching more black people than any other probably saved a lot of their lives!!

The stats in Jim's link are for the year ending Jan 2016. Note that the numbers pertain to incidents, so are not counts of unique individuals.

Out of 2,782 people "proceeded against" 718 were White British or Irish, 437 (mainly sub-continental) Asian and 716 Black African/Caribbean.

1,104 of the 11,243 victims were Asian, 703 Black and 877 White.

The 2011 census gives the percentages of these groups in the Metropolitan area as 60% White, 18% Asian and 13% Black.

I think what the stats do suggest is that, particularly in London*, Black people are disproportionately involved in knife crime. The main point is that judderman's 95%/50% figures are totally made-up with no bearing on reality whatsoever.

*I think this is in fact the only area covered by the statistics I've provided, but other areas will be similar (or, perhaps, less skewed towards Black people owing to demographics).

Were any of you limp wristed lefties listening to LBC at 4 o'clock this evening?? You deniers make me laugh. Even when it's staring you in the face you'll never accept it!! Even black people themselves were saying it's mainly a black problem!! And oddly enough every time it's reported in the papers and on the news it's usually young black men, and if it's not it's often young Asian men. And more often than not it's an immigrant. And quite often an illegal immigrant. On the very odd occasion it might be a young white man.... maybe the media are making it up?
No doubt all you deniers will come back defending the poor black people! After all if you speak the truth about blacks or Asians or any other ethnic group in this namby pamby country you are an automatic racist!!!

And now you have expanded it into an all-purpose Mr Angry rant about what you perceive as everyone's defence of criminals on the basis of their ethnicity.

I suggest you take a breath, and look logically and calmly at the replies you have received.

Blanket insults send debates one way - to oblivion, so by all means argue your point, but assuming an un-stated position by everyone, and then haranguing them for it, is going to get your thread dropped at best, and terminated at worst.
