In recent times ITVs Loose Women has gotten increasingly low-grade, featuring heavily the likes of Katie Price, countless reality stars and trailer trash. Today, despite the fact that many viewers will have been eating lunch, they discussed vaginas and (separately) urinating (it's okay AB editor, those very words were used numerous times, so if it's suitable for their audience....). Are there no limits to which they won't stoop? And why are supposedly intelligent people like Jane Moore, Janet Street Porter and Ruth Langsford staying with that programme....other than for the money?

Do you say this to further a campaign that denies the existence of vaginas and urination?

Maybe pitch for re-naming the show as Loos Women.
"has gotten increasingly low-grade"...but you're still watching it!
I like the programme and hearing their opinions.
What are you implying by "supposedly intelligent" ?

If the money is good and the hours suit, wouldn't you stay?
I don't watch it.......Mrs sqad doesn't but moans about it and when you mention Katie price, that sums it up.

Middle aged women sounding off and given a platform to do so.

I would have thought that vaginas and urination would be a good topic for them.
Is there only certain times of the day we should discuss vaginas and urinating?
They are not dirty and should not be hidden?
Haven't seen the programme for a long time.

Presuming those words were used within context then I can't really see a problem.

Although I have read squeals of 'TMI' in the Health topic here when bowel habits have been discussed.
If you call it something else then it loses the 'embarrassing' don't discuss that factor .

You know - like Penis ?
Now if you say 'willy' ? - there that's ok - no embarrassment there
I'm at a complete loss as to what the non-contextual use of 'vagina' or 'urinating' would be. They are what the are.

I might just take issue with Islay's 'should not be hidden' stance, at least whilst taking high tea.
Well of course Douglas any good Scots lass keeps it covered during High Tea - I am not a complete heathen!!
That's what lace doilies are for.
Lol mamya or tablecloths!
What young man can forget his first steps in the world of fine dining only to be brought up short with the vision that is Fanny By Gaslight?
It's a bit like Jeremy Kyle and Judge Rinder- you either love it or you hate it- personally not generally my cup of tea but I can't see anything wrong with discussing vaginas at any time of day, they do exist and their mystique as something of legend that you don't discuss in 'nice' company ought to be dealt with. Not discussing your own anatomy leads to countless deaths every year from women and men too afraid to go to their Dr when something seems amiss, the more we can do to make discussing our bits normal the less this will happen. don't die of embarrassment as they say :/
Just a guess, but vaginas plus urinating means stress incontinence.........you know, wetting yourself when you laugh, sneeze or strain.
Gobby, mouthy, self opinionated women.
'plumbing new depths' eh.

DeeLicious, do you come over all feint and sweaty and have to leave the room when sanitary protection adverts come on when you're watching Men & Motors?
makes you wonder why people watch it!
Perhaps there should be an equivalent show for blokes to discuss things that they normally would talk about down the pub. Might be quite entertaining, although I should I should imagine that some of the subjects and opinions would cause the perpetually offended to have palpitations.
Dee - What is 'the likes of Katie Price ...' - ?
