I’ve just got a text about gift aid but it’s not very clear what I should do

What information do we collect?
When you make a donation to Soccer Aid we will ask you to confirm whether you are eligible to Gift Aid your donation. If you are eligible and do wish to Gift Aid your donation, we will collect your name, postal address and donation amount to fulfil the Gift Aid requirements set out by HMRC.

If you opt-in to receive communications from Unicef UK, we will collect your title and name. Depending on which service you opt-in for, we will also collect your postal address, email address and/or mobile phone number.

if you want to be rang and texted incessantly by Unicef..go ahead..I ended up blocking them after several 3 am calls !!

I'd block them now..honest it was ridiculous..folk phoning in the early hours asking for further donations..I'd NEVER do it again

They will need your details so that they can claim back Gift Aid money from the tax man.
