The Chase Today

Just watched a repeated edition of the Chase on ITV.I'm not sure if it has been discussed on here before but I don't remember seeing it previously.Anyway the three contestants were robbed,the clock had plainly gone to zero,I re-ran a couple of times to make sure,before the beast answered.A rather shabby performance by ITV on that one and it's not the first.

Often thought that the chase was a bit 'fixed' anyway. Unbelievable the amount of times that the chaser gets thing wrong when theres only a few steps left on a low score. Got to fill in the minutes somehow I guess?

So would I in theory Tills, but this is a TV show that draws in thousands (and the chasers get paid a lot of money to put on a show)...

I have noticed that some chasers do... hesitate when coming up with answers on the final chase, so disappointed if it is all a fix.

The beast sometimes deliberately gets questions wrong on the table round, if a contestant goes for a minus offer, just to annoy the teammates.

It's just entertainment really. Not Mastermind.
