I am looking through the cover plan and I am wondering if I read this correct.
Link to the cover plan.

The left column is the 5 yr free cover. I did not pay for the extra cover plan which shows onth weight hand column.
What do you poster think?
If indeed to pay for the parts then it's totally out of order and I will return the TV and buy it from John Lewis as they also offer free 5 yr warranty.

I confirmed with Samsung and they said they only provide 12 months warranty. The warranty is with Currys. But now it seems Currys is lying and that box is not ticked for including parts. Because today's repair method is to keeps on swapping parts until it is fixed. But I don't want to pay for the parts.
I phoned the Currys warranty team again telling them I had confirmation from Samsung that they are providing 12 months warranty only.
And now they said the warranty is with themselves Currys and I asked about the parts and labour, they said now it includes it. But I pointed to the website that unless I pat the extra monthly cover it won't include the parts.
Since they now have seems to say the warranty does include the parts and labour, I asked for written confirmation. They said they won't do it.
There you go, only time will tell when I make a claim. I hope I don't need to.
But be warned and I will never buy such an expensive item from them again.

I found the CEO email and sent him an email and asked for confirmation as their Knowhow team gives inconsistent information and leads to no assurance or confidence of them at all.
If I don't get a response, I will reject the delivery and ask for refund.
Anyone know how the refund works when purchased through the employee eGift scheme?
