Teen smow, or as Emmie and I have now renamed him - grownsmow lol, moved out of our home and into a flat with his best friend of, god, since he was about 10 yrs old. Was/is near where they both work. Both are single, in fact friend has never ever had a girlfriend. They’ve had a great routine going, sharing journeys to work, gym in free time etc. Now, suddenly, out of the blue, the best mate has joined a dating website and found a girlfriend. 17 years old. She is round every night and has almost moved in. Not what my son was expecting, although I guess it was bound to happen. Prob is it’s gone from 2 best mates sharing a flat to my son and a love struck mate with the gf there 24-7. Son now feels very awkward as that’s not really what he signed up for. Best friend has almost moved this girl in. Thoughts??

This happened to me. Result, they moved away and got married. She turned out to be multiple unfaithful, they eventually divorced. Best mate now distant memory.

what 21 year old doesnt need advice from his mum every now and then? I hope if she's there all the time she is paying 1/3 rent and bills.
