Music Used In Bargain Hunt And Four In S Bed
There is a piano solo piece, in a ragtime style, also used extensively on Bargain Hunt and Four in a Bed. It is definitely in a modern, post 1950s style. It was used in a recent Bargain Hunt where Natasha Raskin Sharp was presenting a programme with a royal, commemorative theme (WI ladies eating scones!). I would love to get this sheet music for my partner's up-coming birthday. Help, does anyone know what this piece could be?? I have trolled the music of Motteram, but can't find this piece, so it must be by someone else.

There might be a credit for it on the relevant Bargain Hunt episode.
Or, if you know the episode number you'll find if here...

Thanks, Pastafreak. I didn't realise that the I-Player site lists the music used in most episodes. However, on this one, guess what, the music is NOT listed! It's a 'royal special'. It opens with Natasha Raskin Sharp doing an introductory piece-to-camera surrounded by women eating cakes, while this delightful solo piano music plays. I have trawled through the episodes where the music used IS listed, but can't find anything which could be this piece.
So... the search continues for the name of this piece.
HELP, ANYONE!!

Could you Shazam it? https:/ /www.sh azam.co m/gb/ho me
Seeing as we can't hear it, I would always suggest a Scott Joplin.
Famous ones for piano are Maple Leaf Rag and The Entertainer.

Thanks you SO much for all your suggestions! Like 'Choux', I found that the link to the suggested episode has been removed, so I can't even tell you the episode number myself. (Also, 'Barry 1010', I therfore can't Shazam it. I had tried this in the past, but because Natasha talks over it, Shazam didn't work.) I CAN confirm that it is definitely NOT a Scott Joplin piece (I know them all). Also, with thanks to 'The Winner' and 'Gromit', it is definitely a piano solo piece - so not with a jazz quartet. I think I'm on to a loser here, myself. Anyway, if anyone can suggest a title, I'd be grateful. Remember, my aim is to buy the sheet music for my partner's birthday by the 17th July!

Like the others have said, if you can point to a particular part of an episode where the music is played it really would help.
Once you narrow it down you could ask them ... https:/ /twitte r.com/B BCBarga inHunt?
