Joel Dommett Brit Awards Joke

I have never heard of him nor did I watch the Brit Awards but I have read his Elton joke and found it amusing, can't see what the fuss is about/

Anyone here think the complaints are justified? Piano fingering is a 'thing' and something all beginners are taught. He was wearing a piano themed suit, Elton plays the piano.
If you haven't heard or read his joke I'm sure you can construct it from that.

Isn't it wonderful how the Mail can remain firmly rooted in the 1950's with its description of a joke as 'filthy'

It's the sort of adjective Mary Whitehouse used all the time.

Wake up Mail subeditors, its 2023 - humour is no longer 'filthy' - just potentially inappropriate.
