Fun fact, the first guy that says "I'm Spartacus" is an uncredited George Kennedy.

  It is a good film. I remember seeing it on TV in the sixties and again about five years ago.

awful long, especially after they restored the bits the censor cut out, with Anthony Hopkins doing Olivier's voice. Kubrick didn't like the process of making a Hollywood film - too much studio interference - so he never made another one. He moved to St Albans, where studio execs couldn't find him.

because by the time they decided to restore the censored bits (I think it was the 80s) the audio had been lost, and Olivier was dead. But Hopkins was able to imitate his voice convincingly.

IMDB lists those appearing in a cast, including ones who are uncredited. George Kennef does not appear in the cast list for the film.

'One of the warrior-slaves who shouts "I'm Spartacus!" towards the end of the film, is stuntman/actor Bob Morgan, who strongly resembles actor George Kennedy. This film is often mistakenly credited as the film debut (uncredited) of George Kennedy. Kennedy had no association with the film.'
