Bbc Quiz : Week 44
Hello again!
Only seven-and-a-bit weeks to the big C-word now! Doesn’t time go by quickly these days?
I started off with a mediocre THREE out of seven in the main quiz this week:
https:/
. . . which I followed with a middling THREE out of five in the junior quiz:
https:/
So plenty of scope there for you all to beat me easily, I feel!
Your turn!

My scores are 4/7, 4/5
It has been a very wet week with all the rain, but I don't mind putting on my wellies for a bit of a splash around in puddles. I am grateful it did not get to flooding levels, which many people are unfortunately suffering.
I have another Xmas present/personalised cushion idea for you following your comment last week about sleeping upside down when Moonbeam had fallen asleep on your pillow. It made me smile...
I have been spending time with my adorable grand-puppy and also visiting with my friend's gorgeous kitty cats (one of whom is no longer kitten - they grow up so fast!!)
I wish you and the terrific trio an amazing week ahead 😊
You need to spend more time playing with your Lego and your plastic ray gun, I think, Canary42 😄
Thank you for allowing me to beat you this week, Killmott. I feel much better now 😊
Double 'middling' this week, I see, Scorpiojo - but better than me anyway!
Only just below my scores, anyway, Clover. I used to ignore Christmas for as long as possible but I seem to have started buying stuff for it already this year. Either I'm no longer as grumpy as I used to be or, far more likely, I'm just getting better at noticing the bargains on supermarket shelves 😏
Hiya, Patsy! We're a perfect match again!
Good evening, Karamia!
You're at the top of the leader board with your scores at the moment!
I can't remember when I last owned a pair of wellies. (It was probably about half a century ago). So there'll be no splashing about in puddles for me!
Both of the roads out of our small town to the south were impassable due to flooding but everyone here has learned to expect that to happen, even when the rainfall is quite light. (Everyone here knows to drive 4 miles north, to pick up the A14, before heading back south again).
I'm glad that you've been enjoying both canine and feline company. (I love dogs, as well as cats, too!).
Thank you for the lovely picture. I'll print that out to go with the others that you've sent me.
I hope that you'll have a great week ahead of you.
At least your consultant phoned Chris, I suppose that has got to be the main thing. (even if he isn't up for a good natter) !!
Hope you're around for a lot longer than a "bit" though.
Feeling a tad sorry for myself, into the third day of a stinker of a cold. Fingers crossed it starts to shift soon.
Take care, stay safe
