NBC is reporting that the vehicle came from the Canadian side at "great speed" and hit the a building used for border control. The vehicle is said to have contained 2 occupants and terrorism is not though to be the cause.

I recall travelling into the states across that bridge for a shopping trip to Buffalo with my young family, BIL stopped by his car at the immigration booth and us Limey passport holders were detained in the very building that car accidentally crashed into. I recall we were given a green questionairre requesting details and reasons for visiting the USA.My two sons aged nine and seven were asked on the questionnaire if they were members of an active terrorist political organisation and had thay come with intent to cause harm to the good old USA. I told them to write N/A in the boxes but the thick grunt in immigration didn't know what it meant and insisted they answer yes or no. Pathetic
