Good Morning Sunday Birds!
Well it's stopped raining for the mo but it's so dark still! Really messes with your body clock lol. And so windy - worse than yesterday.
Did the lottery lastnight for the first time in god knows how long - I bought my tickets online. Sadly I haven't won lol, but imagine waking up to that email telling you that you had! You probably wouldn't believe it to start with would you. I wonder just how much most people would say they would need to win these days to actually transform their lives...... sounds a lot but a million wouldn't go far these days would it. I'd love to win enough to sort out my children & in-laws, then the rest for me! : )
So what have we all planned on this dark, blustery Sunday morning? x

Paignton should be okay snow wise. We are not too far away and only had a 10 minute flurry last Thursday. Was shocked to see pictures of Newton Abbot though, it is only 12 miles inland.
Definitely a staying indoors day. Mr U ventured outside to feed the fish, a big gust of wind picked up pond water and drenched him, I am afraid I had to laugh.
Morning all, windy and heavy rain last night but improved a bit this morning. Not enough to tempt me outside though.
I love South Devon. I lived down in the South Hams for a year in my childhood and had many many happy family holiday there over the years. WE had on booked for this summer but had to cancel when my younger son passed away earlier this year.
I hope Mr smow is doing a fair bit of the driving Smow as your trip to Norfolk took it out of you. At least its motorway most of the way. Have a happy and dry day everyone
It was definitely batten down the hatches weather here. I've not heard so much roaring in a long time. It was quite eerily silent when I woke up...still raining but the wind had died down considerably.
My daughter and her partner took an overnight flight to Cape Town...landed 8:30 our time. They are already by the pool. I envy the stunning blue sky they have.
Good morning all. Had a lie in today, only just got up. I think we had your weather yesterday, which was windy and wet. Today is fine but dull. It will shortly be the last garden rubbish collection until spring and there is so much to do, but I'm afraid it is going to have to wait until next year as every time I seem to find the time to go out it is pouring down. A day for puzzles and reading I think.
