Posting To Canada - Or Not
Our Post Office wont accept mail destined for Canada at the moment because Canadian postal services are on strike and all the mail is stuck in sorting offices here. Just a heads up.

When I asked when they, and indeed we, had been informed that post could not be accepted it went a bit quiet. Evasive is probably the word. Apparently mail for Canada is blocking our sorting offices. Why? We should be sending it and inconveniencing them at their end. I put 2 first class stamps on each and put the two cards in the post box. Haha we will email them anyway.
Why have the P.O. not made this refusal to take the mail know to the public? Imagine if you have gone to the trouble to wrap and secure a parcel then driven, paid the parking fee and then walked to or caught the bus to a post office. Be a bit galling would it not. All to show solidarity with the Canadian gender confused.
