Coronation Street - little Amy

Does anyone else think that Tracey's baby Amy was replaced about six months ago. I'm sure its not the same little girl playing her?

I agree but have you noticed she now looks like she should be the daughter of Sonia Fowler?

No offence to the mother of the wee girl, but she is pretty (not). You would think Tracy would have produced a better looking kid. Now I am going to be shot by those who think she is sweet.

According to the Coronation Street Website, she has always been played by the same little girl, Madison Hampson.

Its not her fault she's not exactly pretty, they can't choose how a child is going to look when it gets older, perhaps they will send Tracy away for awhile and bring her back as another actress.

That is at least the third child to have played Amy - and they aren't even alike!

She has been played by Louisa Morris, Maddison Hampson (who I think is the current one), and Rebecca Pike!

...tracey herself was played by many actresses...everytime she came downstairs from doing her homework she had a different face...though I do think it's really sad that the producers of soaps feel the need to replace actors just because they arn't pretty or sexy enough for a storyline...eg the original Nicky Platt, Tracey Barlow, Sarah Louise, and Robert Sugden... some of who had played the part's from infants well into their teens only to be told ..." sorry your face /body don't fit anymore"....
