Enlarging TCP Count Limitation
This is the error message I am getting when I am trying to watch Tv on the internet on Tvants.com.I can see most of the channels only when I try to watch Skytv,i get this message.
{{Tvants failed to open the channel with the internal player.Would you please try the system default media player?
This behaviour is generally caused by the half open TCP connection count limitation of the operating system, typically Windows XP SP2 or Windows 2003 SP1.
We strongly recommend you enlarge this limitation for better network performance and to make the internal player work.
Please visit our web site http://www.tvants.com)more information.}}
(Website is in Chinese unfortunately!)
can someone help,please.I am not really computer savvy person
Thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.You can use this patch to update your tcpip.sys file and increase the number of connections Windows XP can make: http://www.lvllord.de/?lang=en&url=downloads although beware that it isn't supported by Microsoft so should anything go wrong with your system as a result of applying the patch, it's up to you to deal with.
Having said that, it worked on my machine with no problems at all.
