saab 900

I have a 97 saab 900 with a permanent check engine light . The error code reads 73 short adaptation . Does anyone out there know what it means ?

is yours the 2.0 turbo se.

No it's the 2.3se convertible

no, but i am a saab fanatic. i currently drive a 9000 turbo which is terrific old car, and ive also got a 900 se turbo which also is a great old car and really quick. but thats off the road at the moment cause the tax run out and i can only drive one at a time. i did try to solve your problem but without any success. but it is sunday. tomorrow i will make some calls and hopefully come up with an answer. meanwhile what part of the country do you live at?

Me,my family, and my saab reside in Hampshire .Thankyou for trying to help with this, We've tried lots of websites but keep getting conflicting results. Mostly the sites have no idea . Thanks again for your help tomtech. Catch up tomorrow .
