Totally Boyband song

I saw a bit of the program Totally Boyband where they were trying to write a song and the record company had a song waiting in case the boy's wasn't good enough. I saw their video yesterday - The One - and wondered if anyone knew who wrote it - the boys in the band or someone else? Just curious! Have posted this question in Reality TV too, by the way.
