apple pie im not too keen on though...

Spaghetti with bacon & spring onion for main:-
Chop bacon into lardons and fry in a little olive oil. Slice bunch of spring onions and add to the pan. Add pepper. Reduce heat and add a tub of crme fraiche, stir through until hot. Serve spaghetti and drizzle with the bacon sauce. Garnish with fresh parmesan (if funds allow).

Fruit Cocktail Flutes for dessert:-
Make up jelly of your chosen flavour. Using two champagne flutes, spoon the jelly mixture in to halfway up the glass. Place in fridge until the jelly just starts to solidify, then remove the jelly and add segments of fresh fruit (soft fruits like slice strawberries, grapes, orange segments are recommended). Ensure glass is filled to the brim. Return to fridge to set fully. To serve, turn flute upside down on a plate until jelly comes out. You should be left with a free standing cone shaped jelly dessert.
Total = approx. 2.50
GRAND TOTAL = 13.00

I invented this pie - it is EASY and cheap too.
Bs Cherry Pie
Put everything in the fridge and let it get cold - yes even the Cherry Pie Filling.
1 - Graham Cracker Crust
1 can Cherry Pie Filling (chilled in the fridge)
1 pack Jello Instant Pudding Cheesecake Flavor
Mix up the pudding I usually use a little less milk than the directions say pour it in the crust. Put in the fridge until it sets up 5 minutes or more.
Spoon on the Cherry Pie Filling and spread it out.
You can decorate the top with Cool Whip if you want to but it doesnt need it for the taste.

wow, that sounds great too,
similar is something i used to make,
one of the ready made pastry bowl things, with framage frais in then top with fruit, kiwi or strawberrys work well, then serve with spray cream, takes about 5 minutes to prepare.. great dessert for when you do an over complicated main and you're too knackered to do anything special!
