The scene where the Agent ( forgotten his name ) looked a littlw weird. There were lots of "over the shoulder" shots of De Niro and few wide shots. The wide shots looked oddly artificial as if one of the actors was added in. Obviously De Niro is very Busy and may have been added in by CGI.

.Is it just my imagination?

I thought that too. It ddn't look like they were in the same room.

No i also thought that - i orginally thought they had been filmed seperately, then the scene edited together - but then it showed a shot of them both sitting opposite each other....?

They managed to pass the pen to each other OK.
I think it is you imagination working over time, why wouldn't Stephen Merchant be in the same room as De Niro.
