Childrens TV Programme Crush
Being a good ecofriendly citizen, last night I turned my TV off at the plug and so it came on early today when I switched on the lamp.
I was amazed to find I was looking at a programe aimed at children called Crush, where primary school children are encouraged to play a game to win a 'date' with fellow pupils that they have a 'crush' on. The prize was a romantic trip to Paris! Now am I being a bit too prudish or just plain old fashioned here, believing that encouraging primary school children to go on 'dates' is really not on. Whatever happened to childhood?
Do parents on here (not being one myself) consider this is appropriate TV for such young children?
