Alan Partridge 'Air Bass' track

On I'm Alan Partridge Series 2 Alan is playing air bass to an 80's track, sounds a bit like a Japan/Nic Kershaw track, anyone know what it is?

I thought it was Japan but it's Gary Numan and the track's called - Music for Chameleons !

I'm very sad and have it as a ringtone - which plays when my friend who's a fan of Alan Partidge calls me !

If you have i-tunes do a search for it and double click the track to sample it and it will sound very familer !
