2nd December 2006. Ben Mills. X Factor Live Show
Hi, can somebody PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me what the music was that was played in the background when you see clips of Ben talking, before he comes on stage to perform his first song.
It was before Ben came on stage. I have heard it somewhere before, but I cannot remeber ad I would really love to know as the piece of music is amazing. It is an instrumental piece of music by the way.
Very many thanks for all of your help.

It was also featured on the adverts for a BBC programme that was on a few weeks ago called "Lock Them Up Or Let Them Out." Many Thanks though, as sometimes it is "Hoppipolla" by "Sigur Ros", but at other times it isn't .e.g for the first 2 or 3 live shows of this series of the X Factor, Ben's opening music was this piece of music that I would like to find out, then it went to "Hoppipolla" and now it has changed back again. It may also have been feautred in a film this summer, or in a film trailer.
Hello, after e-mailing ITV several times, over the past few weeks (it was first played on the first live show of this series back in October) I have received no reply. It was also featured on an advert commercial for a BBC show last month, after getting a nice reply within a few days, BBC say that they could not locate what the music was as they could not find the file for the advert, but on another message boars (IMDB.COM) somebody helped me and I have found out that it is called.
"Stem / Long Stem" and is by an artist called "Dj Shadow". It is on his 1996 "Entroducing...." album.
