Sat up in bed and watched the news and found it ended early for televised football (and I hate, loathe and detest football) try the other channels and they are running cartoons....does news and adult programmes stop at Christmas? Does our intellect consist of grown men kicking a ball into a net and be proclaimed a hero or watching some daft cartoon that suits a five year old?

The problem with cartoons now is that they come up with a new toy to sell and then base a cartoon round it so the poor kids are actually watching a long commercial!.Cartoons from my childhood like Josie and the pussycats .flintstones ,Funky phantom etc were much more watchable and I would be happy to watch them now.And I agree fully! Football is dire and should be banished to its own channel!

To say you 'Hate, loathe and detest football' suggests you have a fixation about it. I generally dislike things (Soaps and reality T.V) and leave it at that, whilst taking the time to know when they are on and avoiding them. If you havent bothered to read the T.V listings surely thats your fault not footballs.
