I really enjoyed the 30 Years of Swap Shop last night - many happy memories. Was sad to hear that Tony Hart is ill - believe he is over 80. Him and Johnny Ball were icons of my childhood. Also thought Tony looked poorly in the picture shown of him. Does anyone know anymore?

You beat me to it Roger I was going to ask the same Q about him today. He didn`t look well at all on that pic they showed of him but then again he is knocking on a bit. As the the program it brought back some good memories, it showed one clip of 5 star and the lad on the phone called them a bunch of ******* ********** but i`m sure I remember somebody phoned the show and said the same to Matt Bianco???
Didnt see it but Johnny Ball is a legend. He was the teacher you always wished you had at school.
There was once a call from a girl who was talking to the bay city rollers and just before she went off air she said her brother thought they were a bunch of puffs!
i loved this programme cause i was a maasssive fan of swap shop and all the others that followed it. I still have a thing for Noel due to that programme! ahhhhhhhh memories. I phoned in once but couldnt get through. I wanted to chat to Peter Shilton!!! They dont make em like this anymore thats for sure.
And that kid phoned in and asked to see one of the male guests donger!!!
