Paul McGillion (Dr Carson Beckett) is to disappear from this programme in the next few weeks and then only appear in a few episodes next season.

Many of us feel that this is a mistake, we feel that he is a good character and the actor is happy to continue playing Beckett.

Hi Susan,
this was a blow - I'd no idea they were getting rid of him. He plays such a likeable character and bounces off some of the others very nicely. I followed your link and there doesn't really seem to much chance of him coming back but I'll register my support for what it's worth.

but remember that Michael Shanks left for a year and got to come back after a massive campaign.
