Possibly not the correct section, but, which sketch or film scene by Monty Python is your favourite? I would also like to see if my assertion that women don't like Python is true!
I'm female and lOVE Python
Especially Life of Brian (except that stupid scene with the space ship grrr)
but my favourite is probably "Nobody. expects the Spanish Inquisition!"
Oh you lovely people!! How wonderful it is to see out there somewhere, is a soul, nay, a group of souls, or should i use the collective noun a " vroomfondle" of souls that are equally posessed of pythophillia. I want to get you all together sprinkle pepper on you and sneeze all over you in an apreciative sort of way!
im female and i LOVE python! Favourtie is when stan wants to be a woman in the life of brian because he "wants to have babies" could quote that whole bit but will resist!! I love the spaceship scene, partly because its so random and partly because it leads that camp guy to say "You lucky b*****d!"
Like a lot of the sketches. One I like is the one with Cleese as the Army instructor in white vest ans shorts teaching his recuits how to deal with an attacker armed with a banana.
"When are we gonna do pointed sticks?"
"Oh pointed sticks is it? Know it all now do we?" etc
And the argumnent sketch of course. And the 4 yorkshiremen. And the stoning scene in LoB.
And the "How shall we f*** off oh lord?" in LoB
And... etc
I forgot the mattress sketch (the one where if you said mattress to one of the sales staff he put a bucket on his head and the only way he would take it off was if everyone got into the fish tank and sang "Jerusalem") By the way I am female and middle aged and I have always loved Python
