oh well done boo. Thanks everyone too.

Jimmy Carr was also in the Top 10 i think.... oh and Richard Pryor - sooo funny!
my bad - just realised BOO found the list!!! lol.
oh and as for Harry Hill... i just dont get him... so irritating... my brother loves him though...
Some strange choices in there...Eddie Izzard and Ross Noble?..Comedians?...LMFAO!
How on earth can Lee Evans (no.23) be beaten by Jo Brand, Woody Allen and Victoria Wood??

Also how can Bernard Manning be ahead of Bob Monkhouse, Ken Dodd, Tommy Cooper and Omid Dajilil??

It was still a good programme though
Yeah ~ I'm with Elvis on this one. Some of thenames near the top in that list just aren't funny. Anyone know who got to choose them?
If it was a 'phone-in' are we looking at yet another premium rate scam? Or was this a back slapping excercise by those in the business?
Just been tongue lashed by my gf. Humour ( so she tells me) is subjective and therefore not everyone will find the same people amusing.
toonmilo ~ spot on mate - some very starnge placings in that list.
Did Woody Allen ever do a better stand up stint than Lee Evans?

I cant stand Eddie Izzard!!!! Totally not for me, never has managed to make me laugh
Must be an 'Age' thing. My little brother thinks Harry Hill should have won, my older sister thinks it should have been Ben Elton. Me? I'm just wondering how Alan Davies only managed to scrape in at number 63 and Omid Dajilil never made the top 20
My top would be Peter kay followed by Billy connolly and then Lee Evans.
I also love Victoria Wood and Ben Elton and please dont string me up for this one, jim Davidson!!! lol
I do love Harry Hill on Burp but he doesnt do it for me as a stand up.
I love Ross Noble, I would have put Tommy Cooper number 1, cant believe he was so far down the list!! then number 2 bill bailey, 3 ross noble, 4 peter kay, then not sure would have to do a closer evaluation!!
its weird this comedy thing.....i think izzard is so funny, and harry hill not.........

little britain i think is rubbish.............

I have to admit I love Ben Elton and fell asleep before harry hill came on and I assumed he would be in there i dont find him funny but mr w does. And Bernard Manning what a rude unfunny old fart. And the american bloke with the baseball cap on with the droll voice he was not funny either. We thought alan davis should have been furthur up and Jasper carrot.
I cant belive the late great Spike Milligan wasnt at least No2, glad Billy C was No1 tho, restored my face in C4 viewers
