Dramatic music used in tv programmes
I have heard a piece of music in a few tv programmes and would love to know what it is. It is used in scenes that require drama or tension, and I think I have heard it used in the apprentice (when the fired candidate is leaving), in top gear (when there is a powerful car being tested) and I think I have also heard it on the gadget show. The piece consists of a delicate classical sounding piano arpeggio that then kicks into a thumping beat with dramatic strings and bass that provide a four-note ascending melody, before falling back down to just the piano. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

You might be looking for "Clubbed To Death" by Rob Dougan, it's got the piano thing and four-note melody thing and is played a ridiculous amount on TV programmes. Top Gear likes to use this and other tracks from Rob Dougan's album "Furious Angels" a lot.
