I visited the doctor as I had a mole on my upper arm that was getting a bit itchy and changing in shape etc. He said it was actually a wart (exact name I can't remember) and I could have it shaved off at the surgery at a date to be arranged. I've noticed this weekend that it is parting from the skin at the edges and it looks like it could ultimately fall off, does anyone know if this is hwo these warts should behave? Should I go back to the doctor before I get a date for the minor surgery that he is arranging?

BUPA has a fact sheet on warts including surgery that leaves a small scar. Personally I would have it done as warts are caused by viruses and can look unsightly.
