MM Links Game 2007 May (Week 2)
64 Answers
I thought the idea of this Links Game was to get as many points as possible (not
stop when you have TWO points)! Did I make it too hard for you? Did some of you
rush in without pausing for thought? Some of you still had half the shrubbery
in your hair!
Talking of which, "Good Morning" to each and every one of the Marmite Mob. I am
dedicated to the task of helping sarumite qualify for re-entry to the
Free Fall Club.
If you don't already know, this is burgess3334 (aka Alan) set to continue
as King Linker for May (Yes "MAY") and tease and tantalise as best I can!
Like most of you, I know how to predict better than how to work out the scores.
Hence, like my predecessors, I have followed the same rule as crofter on
word length. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at
most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your
attempts!
The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm when
crofter will declare my selected words and then apply the same rules of
awarding points that have been applied during the MM Link Games in the past.
My second of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at
9.00am and you are invited to predict the missing links. I say "should" because
in the next 15 minutes ANYTHING could happen. Remember what happened last week!
This week, I hope to bowl a straight ball and keep a tidy wicket.
Talking of "tidy", I have just passed through the shrubbery for the first
(and last) time and what a mess! Luckily, I had a bin-liner with me and helped
to clear up! But enough of that!!
