Jules001, Peter is a comedy actor, if the show had wanted Peter to be in Victorian dress, the production team would have made sure there was a costume available in his size.
The bird costume may have been Peter's idea, but there is no way the production team would leave it to a guest to supply their own costume.
Peter was mostly there ( I think ) to promote the children's animation series he provides some voices for.
The series is "Roary the Racing Car" on FIVE around 7.20am each morning.

Tonymclark - Gina 32 asked whether Peter Kay had appeared on the show and was he promoting anything. I replied giving the facts as I knew them. Of course I know that Peter Kay is a comedy actor which is why I said I can't always tell when he is being serious, maybe the costume in question was the joke (apparently on the C4 forum lots of people found it funny). Anyway the question didn't warrant your reply about the production team providing the costumes etc. Did you actually watch the programme in question anyway?
