Peep Show

I always intended to watch this when it was on but for one reason or another only ever caught one episode. I did enjoy that one but didn't think it was anything particularly special. However, whenever I see David Mitchell on anything I think he's very very funny so I got the box set and watched the first half yesterday night. I found it absolutely hilarious! I keep remembering bits and laughing out loud at my desk likee a creepy weirdo!

What do you think of it? Do you think any recent British (or American if you like!) comedies beat it?

I don't know yet if I'd go as far as to say it's the best of recent times but it's certainly very very good (in my opinion!)

My son has been a fan of Peep Show for ages and kept on at me to watch it, without knowing too much about it I mistakenly thought I wouldn't like it. However when flying to the US earlier this year they had a whole season on the inflight entertainment so I watched one which led me to watching them all, I laughed so much and now am definitely a fan.

Peep Show has me in stitches every episode. You got some real treats in store. Its just bloody hilarious.


As for equalling it, I think Scrubs is as funny. The only thing I prefer is the Mighty Boosh but then if you like that you are obsessed with it.

Like so many good comedies, you need to see a few episodes and get to know the characters to appreciate it.

I like Peep Show very much, and just wish Channel 4 would put it on a little earlier in the evening, then maybe more people would see it.

i love it! my brother introduced me to it when he showed me a clip on you tube. i was hooked and so he bought me the dvd for my birthday

Agree with the above, a great show but unfortunately I too have missed most of them and only caught a few of the last series.I wouldnt buy it on dvd but would certainly keep an eye out for repeats.
