Old black & white Childrens TV programme tune
4 Answers
Does anybody remember the tune to an old black & white childrens TV programme from the 70's? It was played on violins and was quite a slow tune. I can whistle it (no good for this I know!!!), but it went something like this; dummm dummm de dummm dum de dummm dummm dum. Can you help with the name of the tune? My wife thinks it's Robinson Crusoe, but I've heard that and it's not the one. The tune was also used a number of years ago for a holiday in Elat in Isreal for the Holiday programme on the BBC.

but there was some incidental music that could be the tune you're thinking of . If you go here:

you can listen to some clips from the soundtrack.
