The Pianist and Moonlight Sonata

in the film the pianist, there is a brief part of beethoven's moonlight sonata played near the end of the film. this track does not appear on the soundtrack album. the credits of the film claim that the piano solos were played by Janusz Olejniczak, but i'm not so sure he played this as surely it would appear on the soundtrack? does anyone know who played this rendition of moonlight sonata and where i can obtain the recording. thanks.
