I'm glad its not just me who has had a change of heart regarding Eli.
When first came into the prog he was somewhat of a 'loveable rogue' and despite his obvious lack of a personal hygiene his character was a bit of a charmer with an eye for the ladies, he was very funny to watch and I really warmed to him. Now I think he is just nasty (in all senses of the word) and there are more than enough baddies in Emmerdale as it is; Mathew, Rosemary, Eric and even David Pollard.... Why do we need yet another one?

Lol, I know what you mean about poor Marlon. He is such a lovely, sweet guy and not at all like his very dodgy relations. The trouble is though that there are times he is such a wimp that I just want to scream at him 'Grow a back bone for God's sake!' especially when it comes to Donna.
It would be nice to see him get a break at some point, his character deserves it.
