For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I think the notion that steady old listed-bulding man-of-gravitas posh-accent-and-hey-he's-black! Sir Trev having a sense of humour (or sorts) and (gasp!) swearing, is a novelty that wears off very quickly.
That said, the panelists more than hold up the format, and are genuinely amusing.
Like a lot of shows, it would work no matter who fronted it - it's not Sir Trev people tune in for.

I only watched the first one and vowed never to watch it again. Marcus Brigstock was the only decent thing about the whole show but even he couldn't tempt me to tune in a second time. Whoever told Trevor he could make it work as comedy host should be fired and never work in the media again. Or perhaps it was Trevor's idea and nobody had the balls to tell him it was the crappest idea ever. So definitely rubbish.
