Marple - who was the murderer.....

I fell asleep 20 minutes before the end of Marple last night, so never found out who murdered the mother or the lover.

Could someone put me out of my misery & let me know please? Thanks in advance....

The housekeeper ,Kirsten played by Amanda Steadman.
She had been in love with the lad that was hanged .He had a penchant for older women and had already borrowed money from her and other women . He asked her to kill the wife and get the money to pay his gambling debts .Being besotted with him she did his bidding. She then killed the other one to keep her quiet as she had an inkling about what was going on. She didn't want her there as a second wife interfering in what she "thought" was a perfect family . But of course they weren't were they ?

I first thought the lover murdered the mother, but after she was murdered too, I wondered whether it could be the housekeeper...!

I had also been wondering if anyone else was murdered apart from those two, so glad I didn't miss too much of it after all.

No other murders, smudge, but you may have missed that Bobby (twin of the hanged one) committed suicide.

Miss Marple had no evidence whatsoever but persuaded Kirsten to confess, as the children were 'cracking up' under the weight of suspicion.

So I did miss a bit more than I thought - I just couldn't keep my eyes open any longer!

I hope it's repeated one day, so that I can watch what I missed after I fell asleep! That'll teach me! ;o}
