Unknown childrens tv show title.

Around early 90's (possibly late 80's) there was a childrens tv game show on BBC2 on Sunday mornings.

All I can remember is that it was a puzzle based game show. There was a time travelling bus and a group of kids had to go back (usually to a castle) to retrieve a scroll. I thought the host was Sylvester McCoy but having looked on IMDb I couldn't find anything game show related.

If the kids had won the ending was with the kids running from this castle with the scroll to get onto the time travelling bus with lots of 'bad men' chasing them.

Anyone have any ideas as I've Googled time travelling bus childrens tv and it's all Magic School Bus related.

Time Busters was presented by Michael Troughton, son of second Doctor Who Patrick Troughton, in a costume similar to that worn by his dad in Who.
