ok i dont know anyone who knows or has seen this programme and i have searched the web but found nothing so maybe someone on here will know.
the programme used to be on channel 4 (i think) in the early hours and was on around the time that OZ the prison programme was first aired on our screens the programme was about a guy who had died but the devil had made a deal with him,he was put back on earth to round up some demons that had escaped from hell,he had tattoos on him and everytime he caught a demon and sent him back one of the tattoos would disappear from his body,he caught 1 demon per show,i did recognise the guy who played the devil but i dont know his name,this programme used to be on around 3-4am straight after OZ.....i hope someone knows this show it was brill.

That sounds like Brimstone. John Glover was the Devil - you may have seen him as Lionel Luthor in Smallville.
