Ski free to view
2 Answers
I watch very little TV and know nothing about Sky. Ok, so about 6 years ago my ex-partner had Sky installed on some cheapy deal and didn't pay for a package. I never bothered with it until today, when a friend fixed it up again for me. At first I got loads of free channels and was really impressed. A few hours later, I got hardly any and was getting a message about my viewing card having a problem. In the hours in between, the powere was off a few times due to electrical work, and I also removed the card, both of which I believe you are not supposed to do. I rang the helpline number and they had no trace of the card number. I was then put through to someone who wanted to sell me a package. It's really not worth me signing up to a package. It gives more channels and better reception than my digi box so would like to use it if it's worthwhile. Can I get the thing re-connected to free viewing again, how much will it cost and how's the best way to go about it please? Will I have to re-register it in my name?
