If you have Multiroom with Sky +, do they run a phone cable from the box downstairs to the one upstairs, or do you have to have an extension line fitted by BT? Nothing on the Sky site mentions another phone box upstairs.

When I got Sky multiroom, I was told I couldn't run a cable from downstairs to the bedroom and that I would need a separate phone socket. BT quoted me around �120 for an extension, but the sky engineer fitted it for �40.

I also have two cables running from my two Sky+ boxes to the phone socket.

The Sky engineers charge so much per foot of cable to fit it.
