i noticed the other day,the young muslim girl on the programme,wearing a veil, is it a rule of theirs not to gamble,or am i wrong.

Strictly speaking the person taking part in the game hasn't put any money at risk. So is it still gambling? Dodgy one this.
I wouldn't call DOND gambling - there is no risk whatsover to money or possessions of your own.

But yes, gambling is prohibited in the Islamic faith.
Further, the playboy Agha Khan Prince Aly Khan was a racehorse owner and head of the Ismaili Muslims.

Now, he was famous for his gambling and playboy lifestyle, but it didn't seem to stop him being high up the Muslim hierarchy.

I also noticed that when asked if she would deal, she always says she would. Even a small amount.

i think a gamble would be, if you are offered something but wanted more than the offer, you would take the risk of loosing everything or improving on the original offer !!!
that to me is 100% GAMBLE.
there are so many religious rule breakers....
one of the most important rules of any religion, but perhaps more so the Muslim religion, is "one muslim must not take the life of another muslim."
need i say more.
sikhs on the other hand SHOULDNT cut their hair. how many choose to ignore this rule ?

So why is marrying a divorcee so frowned upon? and marrying a Catholic is deemed worse...I don't get it!
