I have a CSE in woodwork and an NVQ level 1 in catering, so one can hardly call me a dunce, but am I alone in being totally perplexed at what is going on in Jasper Carrot's "Goldenballs"
Watched it for the first time last night. Basically, a huge rip off of Deal or no Deal. Jasper Carrott funny comedian rubbish presenter. Choose or dump balls. Killer balls take a zero off the end of the amounts. Too complicated to bother with in my opinion.
i understand it fully but can honestly say its not worth the effort of gettin to grips wiv. the game is fairly pointless as it is so difficult for anyone to go home with a decent sum of money. The split steal bit at the end is as good as it gets!
As I understand it, in the final game, if A and B choose Split they split the prize 50-50.
If A and B both choose Steal, each wins nothing.
If A chooses Steal and B Split, A wins the whole amount and B wins nothing.
With Split, the result will be either 50% or nothing, with Steal, it will be 100% or nothing, so does it not make sense to choose Steal every time or am I missing something?
