Emmerdale in HD

I read yesterday that Emmerdale is going to be filmed and broadcast in HD. Does this mean there will now be an ITV HD channel, or can this be done on the regular ITV1 channel???

There will be a free-to-air HD ITV channel by then.

But you will need a Sky HD box and subscription to watch it.

A quick search in Google indicates that ITV HD are testing in Dundee on Virgin

btw: I found out all of my answers just by searching in Google.

I first searched for "Emmerdale ITV HD" and found a few hits.

Then I seached for "Virgin ITV HD" and got more hits.

It is amazing what you can find out just by searching in Google.
