no, the tv books says that it is on but itv have announced that it will clash with euro 2008 so they can't fit it in with their schedules ,so will jump to episode 3 next week -

ITV cannot find enough slots in its schedule before the European championships start in 12 weeks. They have decided not to show episode 2 and are skipping straight to episode 3..

Why can't they show it on ITV2?

The series is available for download from the iTunes store for �1.89 per episode. Episode 2 is not there yet, but will be added after it has aired in the US in the next few days.

I didn't know that. However, the programme is also shown on ITV2, so maybe that episode will appear on there.

Having said that, I said on an earlier post that it wouldn't suprise me if it didn't get the ratings ITV wanted anyway (nothing wrong with it, just not normal ITV fare) and end up getting dropped or pushed. Looks like it stated early...

This was already delayed once because of the writers strike, so I am really surprised they are going to muck about with it after just one episode.

It is not an Urban Myth. ITV is not showing episode 2 but is going to continue to show the rest of the series. This is due to the fact that Euro 2008 is on in 8 weeks time and they have got 9 episodes left to show. They said that the decision has been made to not show this particular episode due to the fact that it is the only one that will not interfer with the story lines too much.

Oh dear, now that Hotel Babylon has finished, that is about the only thing I see on Television now. We can see some BBC and Channel 4 programmes online now, but does anyone know if you can do this with ITV, as not all of us can get ITV2?

There's due to be a weekend TV slot on Paul O'Grady coming up and she mentioned Pushing Dasies. Whether they will be able to confirm it's episode 2 I don't know, but I've just seen another advert for an episode on Saturday at 9.00pm ITV1....

ITV are rubbish, aren't they? They've been trailering this show for ages - it's their big US import. And then they decide not to show the 2nd episode.

Just to let you know folks, have checked the online TV guide for today, and it is still on as far as I know.

Episode 2 is called The Fun in Funeral, and will be on today (Saturday) at 9pm on ITV1.

How did they manage to make a gorgeous woman like Anna Friel look like an unremarkable identikit Hollywood actress? Quite some achievement.

It's too self-consciously quirky for my liking.
