Very serious and traumatic storyline but I thought it was treated in a very "cavalier" manner, Maria would have needed all the support possible, Her husband should have been paramount in this storyline, all that palaver with him and Carla should have been sorted!!

marcus & the midwives asked maria to contact liam, but she said no. marcus was with her all through. no one knows how they`d be in that situation. everybody would be different.

I agree, it was unnecessarilly drawn out. I think in real life, she would have burst into tears with somebody and just blurted out what had happened.

I suppose we have to remember that she knows at the back of her heart that Liam only married her because she was pregnent, and didn't want to tell him about losing the baby as he will leave her (how right she is!!)
