Max & Steph in Hollyoaks.

I've watched Hollyoaks sporadically over the years and tuned in again yesterday for the first time in months. I've was a bit perplexed to see Max and Steph about to tie the knot.

How on earth did they get together? I would never have seen them as an ideal match. Max is a down to earth character and Steph is just plain shallow.

I believe the actor Matt Littiler is leaving and tonights episode will be quite harrowing.

they have been together for a while. The answer is that soap plotlines don't have to be believeable in the slightest. after all *spoiler alert* max is going to get run over by a psycopathic, jealous adopeted prodigal son who has got a major chip and who has already tried to murder people. I kind of find that more unbelievable that the fact he wants to marry steph
