As an aside, the actual signing was accomplished in passenger rail car. When France surrendered to Germany in WW II, Hitler found the same rail car, transported it to the Forest de Compi�gne and humiliated France (if that was possible) by having them sign their surrender in the same car...
I can understand your reasoning, Steve, but if you think about it for a minute, what other purpose does this site serve, other than the opportunity to ask almost any question and expect a reasonable answer? If everyone that came on did do their own research this entertaining venue would soon shrivel on the vine, no?
